Frequently asked questions
Who pays the escrow fee on Escrozon?
The buyer. The 6% escrow fee is added on top of the seller's price at checkout, so it never comes out of the seller's price. Creating a listing is free.
How much does the seller receive?
The seller's full price is credited to their Escrozon wallet when the deal completes. Moving that money out of the wallet costs a 3% withdrawal fee. Money left in the wallet can be spent on Escrozon without that fee.
When is the seller paid?
The seller is paid when the buyer confirms receipt, or automatically 30 days after delivery starts if the buyer has neither confirmed nor opened a dispute. Until then the payment stays held in escrow.
What happens if the seller never delivers?
If the seller never starts the transfer, the deal is cancelled after 14 days and the buyer gets the full amount back, escrow fee included, in their Escrozon wallet. If something goes wrong after the transfer starts, either side can open a dispute, which stops the payout until a person on the Escrozon team decides it.
Are there any other fees?
There is no listing fee and no monthly subscription. Optional extras, such as bumping or featuring a listing, are paid separately and only if you choose them.
How do I price a listing so I take home a set amount?
Divide the amount you want to keep by one minus the withdrawal fee. The second calculator on this page does it for you and shows what the buyer will then pay at checkout.
