When to Open a Dispute
TL;DR: Disputes are a last resort — but knowing when to file one and how to present evidence can save your funds.

When you should open a dispute
As a buyer:- The seller never delivered the account credentials.
- The account was transferred but is significantly different from the listing (e.g. half the subscribers promised, fake engagement, channel strikes not disclosed).
- The seller is trying to reclaim the account after transfer.
- The seller is unresponsive for more than 48 hours after funding.
- The buyer received the account and is refusing to confirm delivery without reason.
- The buyer is attempting to reverse-engineer access (e.g. demanding your personal recovery codes).
- The buyer is unreasonably extending the inspection window past 72 hours.
When you should NOT open a dispute
- You haven't tried communicating first. Most issues resolve with a quick chat message.
- The metrics are off by a small margin. Subscriber counts fluctuate daily; minor differences are normal.
- You simply changed your mind. Escrow is not a return policy.
How to file a strong dispute
1. Be specific. State exactly what went wrong, with timestamps. 2. Upload evidence. Screenshots of the listing, screenshots of the account after transfer, chat logs, anything relevant. 3. Be honest. Exaggerated claims are easy to disprove and damage your credibility. 4. Stay on-platform. Don't try to take the fight to Discord or email — moderators can only act on what's in the deal chat. What happens after you file
- The deal is frozen — no funds move until resolution.
- The other party is notified and given a chance to respond.
- A moderator reviews chat history, listing details, and any uploaded evidence.
- Resolution typically takes 1–5 business days.
