Want to sell your YouTube channel fast? Here are my top 5 tips from a real seller

Seller's description

Hey everyone, I'm a real seller here on Escrozon

I've helped a bunch of folks sell YouTube channel accounts over the years, and I've seen what works and what doesn't. If you're looking to offload yours quick, follow these tips.

Top 5 Tips to Sell Fast

  • Tip 1: Get your numbers right. Buyers check everything—subscribers, watch time, engagement. Make sure your YouTube Studio is clean and accurate.
  • Tip 2: Be honest about strikes. If you have any copyright or community strikes, say so up front. It saves everyone time.
  • Tip 3: Price it smart. Don't overprice. Use the calculator here: $12 per 1K subs, plus 40% if monetized, plus 15% if YPP eligible. Round to nearest $5.
  • Tip 4: Show proof you own it. Original owner gets more trust and better offers. I always list as 'Yes' for original owner.
  • Tip 5: Pick a solid niche. Gaming, finance, or tech channels sell way faster than random vlog channels.

Good luck selling! I'm listing my own channel below if you wanna check it out.

How a YouTube channel changes hands

These are YouTube's and Google's rules, and they apply to every channel on Escrozon — whatever a listing says.

  • Ownership moves inside YouTube, not by password

The seller adds your own Google account as an owner of the channel's Brand Account. You never need the seller's password or sign-in codes, and never share yours. Manager access alone is not ownership.

  • Primary ownership takes at least 7 days

Google only lets you become primary owner after you have been an owner for seven days, so a full handover always takes at least a week. Keep the deal open, and do not confirm receipt, until that final step is done.

  • The seller's AdSense is not part of the sale

AdSense ownership can't be transferred. If the channel is monetized, you link your own eligible AdSense account and check its monetization status — earnings after the handover are not guaranteed.

  • Figures on this page are the seller's

Ask for a live YouTube Studio walkthrough of subscribers, views, revenue and strikes before you pay, and confirm receipt only once you are the primary owner.

Frequently asked questions

With instant transfer via email change, you can complete the sale in under 24 hours once a buyer is found, provided your channel is clean and ready.

Buyers prioritize subscriber count, watch time, engagement rate, and monetization status. For a tech review channel with 10,000 subscribers, high engagement and zero copyright strikes are key.

Yes, Escrozon acts as a secure escrow marketplace, holding payment until the buyer confirms receipt of the channel, protecting both parties from fraud.

It's possible but harder. Buyers prefer channels with zero strikes, as strikes can affect monetization and YPP eligibility. Honesty about any strikes is crucial for a smooth sale.

Once you change the email and password, the buyer verifies access. Escrozon then releases the $150 payment to you, typically within 24-48 hours.

YouTube channel checklist

What is it worth? →

Two minutes of checks before you pay for a channel.

  1. 1Ask for a screen recording of Studio → AnalyticsStatic screenshots are trivial to fake; a continuous recording is not.
  2. 2Compare views against subscriber countA healthy channel sees views in a meaningful fraction of its subscribers. A huge gap usually means bought subs.
  3. 3Check RPM and the revenue date rangeRevenue shown for a cherry-picked good month tells you nothing about the year.
  4. 4Open the monetisation and policy pagesA strike or a monetisation warning transfers with the channel.
  5. 5Ask how much depends on one person on cameraA face-led channel loses its audience when the face leaves.
  6. 6Confirm the AdSense account is delinked before handoverRevenue landing in the seller's account after the sale is the most common post-transfer dispute.
