Questions buyers ask about Discord Nitro accounts

How much does a Discord account with Nitro cost?

20 accounts are for sale on Escrozon right now, from $149 to $1,500, with a typical price of $450.

Can I buy Discord accounts with Nitro?

Yes, but Nitro is a subscription, so it lasts only until the current paid period ends unless you renew it yourself. Check when it runs out in the account's settings while your payment is still in escrow.

Can you buy Discord Nitro permanently?

No. Nitro is sold as a monthly or yearly subscription, so an offer of a lifetime Nitro account is a red flag.

Watch: how escrow protects this deal

Nobody has to go first. The payment waits in escrow while the buyer checks the delivery. Here is every step in two minutes.

  • The buyer pays into escrow before anything is handed over
  • The seller delivers inside the deal, on the record
  • The seller is paid when the buyer confirms, or after 30 days without a dispute

Discord's Terms don't allow accounts to be sold or transferred, and Discord can close an account. Escrow protects your payment from the seller, not from Discord's own enforcement.

Discord accounts with Nitro: what lasts after the handover

A Nitro badge shows an active Discord subscription, so the first question is simple: what happens when the current billing period ends? Check the plan and renewal details before comparing account prices. Discord's terms also require prior written approval to sell or transfer a user account.

Find out what remains after renewal

Discord says Nitro badge progress depends on keeping a subscription active. Ask for the plan name, renewal date and who controls the payment method. A badge visible today is not evidence that the subscription will continue after the proposed handover.

What the Nitro badge tier means

The Nitro badge changes as subscription time adds up: Bronze after one month, then Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Emerald and Ruby at five years, and a six-year tier that listings call Opal. The tier shows how long someone has paid for Nitro, not how old the account is. Only full Nitro has the evolving badge; Nitro Basic and Classic do not.

Why an Opal badge can reset

Discord's help page is clear about the catch. If the subscription ends, the badge stays until the current billing period runs out, and then the progression starts again from the beginning. Discord support cannot restore it. So a long-tenure badge only survives a handover if the subscription never lapses, and you should agree how payment will continue before you pay.

Check the plan, not just the icon

Discord offers more than one Nitro plan, and benefits differ. Ask the seller to show the subscription screen in Discord. If a listing mentions a long Nitro history, verify what the profile actually shows rather than pricing the claim alone.

Keep account and server offers separate

A Nitro subscription belongs to a user account. A boosted server is a community receiving boosts. Check whether the listing describes an account, a server, or both, and have the seller state exactly what is included.

Review the transfer terms first

Discord prohibits an account sale or transfer without prior written approval. Ask for that approval and inspect the subscription terms before funding a deal. Escrow gives time to check delivery, but it does not alter Discord's account rules.

The seller's billing has to come off

A Discord Nitro account is paid for by whoever set up the subscription. If you take the account with the seller's payment details still on it, the seller can cancel at any time, and you are relying on someone you have just met to keep paying. Ask the seller to remove their payment details before you confirm receipt, and decide whether you want to add your own. If you do not, the Nitro runs until the paid period ends and then stops. Write the agreed plan in the deal chat, including the date the current period ends.

Lifetime Nitro and other offers to question

Discord sells Nitro as a monthly or yearly subscription. There is no lifetime plan, so an account advertised with lifetime or permanent Nitro is describing something Discord does not offer. Ask the seller exactly what is paid and until when, and check the answer on the subscription screen. Be wary of a long list of paid months quoted as a selling point, too. You can buy Nitro for your own account whenever you like, so months of prepaid subscription are worth at most what they would cost you directly. Pay for what an account has that you could not get yourself.

Nitro tiers are not Early Supporter

Discord accounts with Nitro history sometimes get described as if the two badges were the same thing. They are not. The Nitro tier badge measures how long someone has paid for Nitro and resets if the subscription lapses. Early Supporter is a separate badge given to people who bought Nitro before 10 October 2018, and it stays on the profile with or without a current plan. A high tier does not mean the account had Nitro before that date. If a listing claims both, hover each badge on the live profile and read the names. Price them separately.

What to check before confirming receipt

  • The subscription screen, seen live during the handover, shows the plan and next billing date the listing promised.
  • The seller's payment details are gone from the account, and any renewal from now on would be billed to you.
  • The Nitro badge tier on the profile matches the listing, with a screenshot of it saved in the deal chat.
  • You priced the account knowing the Nitro ends on the next billing date unless you renew it yourself.

Common questions

Discord says an active subscription is needed to maintain Nitro badge progress. Check the plan and renewal date rather than assuming the badge will remain.
No. Nitro is a user subscription; a boost is applied to a server. A listing should spell out which one it includes.
Only if the Nitro subscription never lapses. Discord resets badge progress when a subscription ends, and its support team cannot restore it.
The current plan, next billing date, profile badge and any claimed subscription history. Ask how payment details would be handled as part of any authorized transfer.
Discord's terms require prior written approval to sell or transfer a user account. Escrow does not replace that requirement.
If you want it to continue past the current paid period, yes. Once the seller's payment details are removed, the subscription ends at the next billing date unless you renew it with your own.
No. The evolving tier badge belongs to full Nitro, and Nitro Basic and Nitro Classic do not have it. Check which plan the subscription screen shows before paying for a tier.
Raise it in the deal at once and hold off on confirming receipt. Escrozon's support team and moderators review the dispute against what the listing and the deal chat say was promised.
Escrozon holds payment during delivery and inspection. Review the listing and check what you receive before confirming. If there is a problem, open a dispute within the deal; if you neither confirm nor dispute, payment may be released to the seller 30 days after delivery starts.
Document the difference in the deal and open a dispute before confirming receipt. A moderator reviews the listing, chat and evidence from both sides. The outcome depends on that review; a refund is not automatic.
